Often it's hard to predict exactly how much it will cost to register a trade mark.  Most applications go through to registration without difficulty, whilst others encounter official objections which can be expensive to address.

In these difficult financial times, we appreciate that this cost uncertainty can be particularly problematic.  The 'drip feed' of attorney invoices over a prolonged period can cause clients budgeting and cost flow difficulties, and often discourage smaller companies from applying to register important trade marks and brand names.

Our solution is to offer a range of fixed fee services for trade mark applications in the European Community and UK.  For example, for a one-off fee of $2,100, we will file an ordinary online Community trade mark application in up to three classes and prosecute it through to registration.  The fixed price will include all official fees, as well as prosecution and registration costs, although it will not include further costs such as those associated with an opposition or an appeal against refusal.

The single fee will be invoiced on filing.  After that, your clients can be reassured that there will be no 'hidden extras' to pay.

We will of course maintain our usual high standards of service throughout this procedure.  We will keep you informed of any prosecution issues and seek your instructions if there are official objections to address.
