Jade joined Greaves Brewster LLP as a patent attorney in 2018, after training for four years with another private practice firm. She has a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Nottingham, where her research focused on the biomimetic synthesis and biophysical investigation of complex natural products. She previously obtained a first class MChem degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford.
Jade has experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in a range of chemical fields, with particular experience in handling patent applications relating to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, polymers, agri-tech and oil & gas technology. Jade also has experience in helping clients manage their patent portfolios worldwide, including navigating patent applications through to grant in some of the more obscure jurisdictions.
